Bryce. Seeing as Juliana is so infatuated with Bryce, it’s incredibly aggravating to read about him being so obnoxious towards her because I know what it feels like to feel unworthy or being ridiculed by a boy, and trust me, it makes you want to crawl into a dark hole and die. I’ve decided; I hate Bryce, he’s a dimwit.I love the fact that this book is so bubbly and so full of life! It’s easy to get attached to the characters because they all have such lovable personalities, especially Juliana. She is my absolute favourite character. Even though she stalks Bryce for the longest time, a girls got to do, what a girls got to do. Love makes you do the craziest of things.
I’ve noticed that Bryce’s grandfather asks plenty of questions about Juliana, which I find quite strange. He also watches Juli through his front windows when she is in the front yard, which in my opinion in just plain creepy. I just can’t seem to pin point what he might want with her. I really wonder what the author is going to with all this.

Wow, awesome first journal entry Melissa! I really like how you relate it to the world...What you are saying is so true! Just from reading your entry and how you said the book is so bubbly and full of life makes me want to read the novel. Keep up the great work!
I love the fact that you are already so attached to this novel. I feel that I can trust your word since you are showing the connections you have with the plot of this novel.
Your modern and more "hip" way of saying things in your journal atracts me to your writing, which is one of my favorite details in this journal.
Keep it up.
Thanks for all the positive comments, I appreciate it! I feel that since the assignment is to write a journal, I should portray my feelings in my entries, not write a summary. I'm glad you guys liked what I've written so far!
Wow! The way you discribe the book just makes me want to read it, but I won't because I don't want to read any books right now. Great work!!
I really like how you relate your novel to teenagers. It is easier to understand something when you can relate to what you read. Great first journal entry. Hope you like the rest of your book.
You're funny Chris! And yes I agree Joanie. Books are a lot easier to read when you can relate to them and I think that is why I love reading this book!
